Reasonably Nice Things...
Charmaine Renee is looking for a definition of home, as a symbol, a metaphor, a place. Her recent works use found objects and materials as constructs for ideas of tension, time, and comfort. Through her sculptural works, Renee presents a rhythmic visual language that ebbs and flows much like one’s experience in searching for a home, arranging an interior and finding the ability to exist in that home.
